Bind, CONTPAQi, Aspel or custom software? How to choose
We compare the published plans and prices of Bind, CONTPAQi and Aspel, run the numbers over three years and explain when one is enough, when to build your operation around it and when to replace it.
If your team is debating Bind, CONTPAQi or Aspel, or wondering whether a custom system would serve you better, here are the plans and prices each one published on October 4, 2026, a side-by-side comparison and a clear rule: when the package is enough, when to build your operation around it and when to replace it.
What does each one cover?
- Bind ERP is a single cloud system you open in your browser: sales, purchasing, inventory, invoicing, electronic accounting and payroll stamping (turning each payslip into a valid CFDI). You sign up for a plan.
- CONTPAQi is a family of systems sold separately: Contabilidad (accounting), Nóminas (payroll), Bancos (banking), Factura Electrónica (invoicing) and Comercial (Start, Pro and Premium) for sales, purchasing and inventory. Most are installed on your computers; it also has cloud products such as Contabilidad Nube.
- Aspel, now Siigo Aspel, is also a family: SAE for administration and inventory, COI for accounting, NOI for payroll, CAJA for point of sale and PROD for production. SAE installs on Windows; ADM and Siigo Nube run in the cloud.
In short: with Bind you get everything in one subscription; with CONTPAQi and Aspel you put together your own combination, one system at a time.
How much do Bind, CONTPAQi and Aspel cost in 2026?
Prices in Mexican pesos, before VAT, as listed on October 4, 2026.
Bind ERP
Bind doesn’t publish the base price of its plans on its pricing page; it asks you to book a demo. It does publish what each plan includes, billed yearly or quarterly:
- Profesional: one warehouse, 4 users, up to 124 sales a month and 5,000 products. It includes electronic accounting, unlimited invoice stamping and payroll stamping.
- Total: several branches, 6 users, 125 to 1,200 sales a month, 10,000 products and a self-invoicing portal for your customers.
- Platino: 6 users, unlimited sales and products, with custom pricing.
Add-ons do have prices: billed yearly, each extra user costs $2,749, and Conecta Bind, which sends journal entries to CONTPAQi Contabilidad for your accountant, costs $2,799. According to Bind, training during the first 90 days is included, extra help costs $1,100 plus VAT per hour and there are no maintenance fees.
CONTPAQi
Its 2026 public price list sells new customers annual licenses, which include that period’s tax updates and unlimited invoice folios at no extra cost; traditional licensing, bought one version at a time, only appears as an upgrade for existing users. New licenses, for one company (one tax ID, or RFC) or several (multi-RFC):
- Contabilidad: $4,590 for one RFC or $6,190 multi-RFC, with one user; each additional network user, $1,690.
- Nóminas: $5,590 for one RFC or $7,690 multi-RFC.
- Factura Electrónica: $2,690 for one RFC or $3,990 multi-RFC.
- Comercial Premium: $10,490 multi-RFC with one user, plus $2,590 per additional network user; renewal costs $9,790.
The list doesn’t include installation or training, so ask your reseller what they cost. Comercial Premium is desktop software; to use it away from the office, CONTPAQi offers Escritorio Virtual, a cloud server starting at $1,990 a month.
Aspel
Siigo Aspel publishes its plans and prices as monthly, six-month or annual subscriptions, with updates included, and showed discounts on annual billing:
- SAE: $1,108 a month or $11,560 a year, shown at $9,248 with a 20% discount. Up to 99 companies, branches, warehouses and unlimited invoice stamping.
- COI: $559 a month or $5,830 a year, shown at $4,081.
- NOI: $679 a month or $7,080 a year, shown at $4,956.
According to its spec sheet, SAE includes one user and additional users are paid separately, at a price not listed on the page. For guidance beyond the initial implementation, Aspel sells support plans starting at $3,840 a year.

When is Bind, CONTPAQi or Aspel enough?
A package gives you proven features, updates when SAT rules change and a known price. It’s enough when what you need is to invoice, keep the books, run payroll and know your inventory; your processes are the usual ones for your industry; your volume fits the plan; and your accountant already uses one of them.
Bind puts it plainly in its comparison with Odoo: it offers “una personalización más acotada”, a more limited level of customization, which keeps implementation simple, because for many small businesses adapting processes to the system is more efficient than adapting the system to each process. It’s an honest position, and for many companies it’s the right one.
Among the three, let where your team works and what your accountant uses decide. Bind fits if you want everything in the cloud, in one system; its pricing page speaks mainly to distributors. CONTPAQi and Aspel fit if you’d rather build your own combination or work on your office computers. All three cover some production: Bind with production orders and formulas, CONTPAQi Comercial Pro with a manufacturing module and Aspel with PROD.
When does a custom system around your package make sense?
This is the most common route: you keep CONTPAQi, Aspel or Bind for accounting and invoices, and build the part of your operation they don’t cover. It makes sense when:
- Your production has its own steps: workstations, scrap, quality checks or real-time progress on every order.
- You sell through distributors or field reps, each with their own prices, credit and orders, without a package license for every one of them.
- Your customers want to see their orders, invoices or deliveries in a portal, without calling you.
- Many people enter a little data each, as on a shop floor, and paying for a package user per person gets expensive.
- Excel or WhatsApp already act as your system and nobody sees the full picture.
The key is the connection, and it depends on the product. Bind has a public API, a door another program can use to read and add information. CONTPAQi documents an SDK for Comercial Premium, a toolkit developers use to connect another system. Aspel SAE imports catalogs, orders and documents from Excel, XML or TXT. Before quoting, we check what your version and plan allow, so nobody enters the same data twice.
One example of an operation built to fit: Sumiplas, a plastic bag manufacturer, used to run on Excel. Today production, inventory, staff and customers live in a single system aligned with ISO 9001, and the team sees the progress of every order in real time. See our inventory management system or our custom ERP.
We solve urgent issues within hours, and most projects are ready in about a week; large systems are delivered in stages, each with its own date in writing. We fix defects you report within 60 calendar days of each delivery at no cost, and your data is always yours to export.
When should you replace it entirely?
Less often than you’d think. Accounting and payroll change with SAT rules, and the packages already keep up with that. What’s sometimes worth replacing is the administrative part: when your operation already lives in a custom system and the package only stamps invoices someone types in again, or when plan limits make you pay for users and sales that don’t need it.
In that case, your system can invoice through a certification provider authorized by the SAT, which assigns the folio and adds the digital seal, and your accountant keeps their software. At Executive Engineers, invoices come out of the same system where the work is managed. Stamping is paid separately; we explain it in how much custom software costs in Mexico. If you’re weighing bigger ERPs, read Odoo or custom software and off-the-shelf ERP or custom software.
How do you decide without getting it wrong?
- List who would use the system. Separate the people who invoice or keep the books from those who only enter orders or progress.
- Mark what your package already handles well. Leave that alone.
- Write down what lives in Excel, WhatsApp or on paper today. That’s usually where the gap is.
- Ask for the three-year price in writing, with VAT: licenses, extra users, implementation and remote access, plus what connection your version allows.
- Compare it with a custom proposal of the same scope, including hosting and maintenance.
If you’d like to run these numbers with someone who knows both sides, book a free consultation, in person around the Bajío region or by video call; if your package is enough, we’ll tell you. A single module or automation starts at about $5,000 MXN, a larger project at about $15,000 MXN and a complete system at about $25,000 MXN, paid in stages. We send you the exact price in writing after the free consultation. Book your consultation.
Frequently asked questions
It depends on your users. At the prices published on October 4, 2026, Aspel SAE and COI with one user each come to $13,329 a year with the discount, and CONTPAQi Comercial Premium plus Contabilidad to $15,080 in the first year, before VAT. Bind doesn’t publish its base plan prices, but it includes 4 or 6 users, while CONTPAQi and Aspel charge for each additional user. Compare using your real number of users, over three years.
Both have cloud products, but CONTPAQi Comercial Premium and Aspel SAE are installed on a computer. To use them remotely, CONTPAQi offers Escritorio Virtual from $1,990 a month plus VAT, and Aspel says its systems run on AWS and Azure virtual servers in approved regions. Bind runs in the browser.
Yes, within what each product allows: Bind has a public API, CONTPAQi documents an SDK for Comercial Premium and Aspel SAE imports catalogs, orders and documents from Excel, XML or TXT. We check your version and plan before quoting.
You can set permissions by user or branch and connect it with other apps through its API. Bind describes its customization as “más acotada”, more limited. If part of your operation needs to work exactly the way you do, the practical route is to build that part around Bind and connect it.
No. The most common route is to keep them for accounting and invoices and build what they don’t cover, such as production, distributor ordering or a customer portal. Your accountant keeps working the same way, and we send the price of the custom system in writing after the free consultation.
