Payments and refunds
Effective:
This policy explains how we charge and what happens if something doesn’t go as expected. It complements our Terms and conditions.
1.How you pay
- Packages and licenses. Paid online by credit or debit card on Stripe’s secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card details.
- Custom projects. Each stage is paid with the methods set out in your proposal.
- Confirmation. After an online payment you get a confirmation email; for Moneta, it includes your license key.
2.Currencies and invoices
Website packages and custom projects are charged in Mexican pesos (MXN). Moneta licenses are charged in Mexican pesos when you buy from the Spanish site and in US dollars (USD) when you buy from the English site. If your card is from another country or in another currency, your bank may apply an exchange rate or fees we don’t control.
If you need an invoice, email contacto@nightlysoftware.com with your payment reference.
3.Moneta licenses
- First purchase. If within 14 calendar days of your first purchase the license can’t be made to work and we can’t solve it together, we refund you in full and deactivate the license.
- Cancelling. You can cancel the renewal at any time with no penalty. Premium features stay active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
- No proration. Monthly plans aren’t prorated: cancelling partway through a period doesn’t get you a partial refund. Renewals, monthly or yearly, aren’t refundable except for charges made in error.
4.Charges made in error
If you’re charged twice, for the wrong amount or after you asked us to cancel, we refund the full charge as soon as we confirm it.
5.How to request a refund
- Email contacto@nightlysoftware.com from the address you paid with.
- Include your Stripe payment reference or, if you don’t have it, the date and amount of the charge, and tell us why you’re asking.
- We reply within 5 business days. If the refund is approved, it goes back to the card you paid with.
Stripe sends refunds to your bank right away, but your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show them. If there’s a problem with a charge, please contact us before filing a chargeback: it’s usually faster that way.
6.Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Law. If you’re a consumer in Mexico and aren’t satisfied with our answer, you can go to the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO) at gob.mx/profeco.
