Cookie policy
Effective:
This policy explains what Nightly Software’s website stores in your browser and which cookies the third-party services we embed may use. The short version: we don’t use analytics or advertising cookies, and we don’t track you across sites.
1.Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser to remember information between visits. Local storage works in a similar way, but its data stays on your device and isn’t sent to our servers with each visit.
2.What our site stores
Our site doesn’t set any cookies of its own. It only keeps two preferences in your browser’s local storage, and neither one identifies you:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| nv-lang | Nightly Software | Remembers your language (Spanish or English) on pages whose address doesn’t show it, such as payment confirmations | Until you clear site data |
| nv-theme | Nightly Software | Remembers whether you prefer the light or dark theme | Until you clear site data |
Dither Studio doesn’t save your images or settings in the browser either: to keep a setup, you download it as a file.
3.Third-party cookies
Some services embedded in the site use their own cookies. We don’t control them or receive any information from them.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Tells people and bots apart to protect the site | 30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Remembers that you passed a security check | Depends on the security settings; 30 minutes by default |
| _cfuvid | Cloudflare | Applies rate limits fairly when several people share an IP address | Browser session |
| Cal.com cookies | Cal.com | Make the calendar on our booking page work and keep it secure | Set by Cal.com |
| Stripe cookies | Stripe | Process payments and prevent fraud on Stripe’s checkout pages | Set by Stripe |
Cloudflare’s cookies only appear when its security features need them, and they’re essential to protect the site. Cal.com’s are used inside the calendar, and Stripe’s on Stripe’s own checkout pages. When you open WhatsApp or our social profiles you leave our site, and each service’s policies apply. Learn more: Cloudflare, Cal.com and Stripe.
4.How to control them
- You can delete cookies and site data in your browser’s privacy settings. If you clear nv-lang or nv-theme, the site goes back to its defaults.
- You can also block third-party cookies, although the Cal.com calendar or Stripe checkout may stop working. If that happens, message us on WhatsApp and we’ll arrange your call or payment there.
- Private or incognito browsing clears this data when you close the window.
Because we only store your language and theme preferences, and third parties only use cookies needed for security and for their services, we don’t show a cookie banner. If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we’ll say so here and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
