The reported 2.0% use of artificial intelligence applies to **the 62,072 units that used digital tools**. It does not mean 2.0% of all Guanajuato businesses used AI. Tool categories may overlap and must not be added together.

## Reusable wording

In Guanajuato, 68,476 of the 270,040 economic units in the private sector and parastatal enterprises used the internet in 2023: 25.4%, calculated by Nightly Software from INEGI’s corrected final results of the 2024 Economic Census.

## Limits to retain when reporting

These observations do not measure 2026 adoption, ERP maturity or financial returns from installing software. The total establishments visited in 2024 uses another population. The comparison includes six selected states and the national figure; it is not an aggregate adoption rate for the Bajío. Municipal percentages in the report describe economic activity and employment, not municipal internet use.
